well...its been a little while! my apologies. :)
i'm in theology class right now (not my best decision to do a night class, 6:30 to 9, but whatevs) and we're doing like a class survey so it's super boring. luckily my professor is funny and we can have computers in class..life savers. side note: he just wrote "practise" on the board instead of "practice." maybe this class won't be so boring after all..

so apparently its "run into your co-workers" weekend.
at the gym thursday (prairie life at midtown), i ran into one of the professors i work with. friday night i was watching the soccer game at DJ's and saw one of my BEA co-workers. then this morning i ran into another BEA assistant at bakers. too funny!
finals start tomorrow and i'm stressed to the max. i spent six (yes, SIX) hours at panera yesterday studying. luckily i'm done with two finals (marketing presentation was last wednesday and i finished my anthropology final this morning, which she administered on friday) and have three more this week (astronomy & philosophy on monday and history on thursday). i'm sooo ready to be done its unbelievable. this semester has been great, but it'll be a relief to finish my last class!!!
can't believe christmas is in TWO WEEKS!!!! soooo excited!

el séptimo de diciembre
so i've got this pet peeve. it's called PDA at the gym.
the whole point of going to work out is just that...working out. if you're going to the gym to exercise your lips (whether that be talking to him/her or freaking making out..saw both tonight!) find a different gym! no one wants to see it. you know who you are, so just stop. seriously.
okay. tangent over.
but its december seventh, which means i turn 21 in TWO WEEKS. woah.
the even crazier thing is how much i have to do from now until then..1 presentation, 5 final exams, get a new license, clean my room, do laundry (HA), clean my fish's bowl, wrap christmas presents (might help to buy them first..haha), and sososooo much more!! i have a feeling the time is going to fly!!!

fifth of december
soo welcome to marketing class..we're doing our marketing plan presentations this week, so its super boring.
sam and i decided to venture out saturday afternoon during the snow storm. she parked behind my car after work, so we had to switch spots before leaving. in the process of doing so, her front wheel drive car got stuck in the alley and luckily our neighbor offered to come help dig it out. he and i ended up scooping our entire parking area! soo we finally got sam's car parked and my car out and headed to baker's. we got our groceries...and a couple extra goodies...and drove back home. i parked and went to get my things out of the back seat and noticed my window scraper on my trunk! while justin and i scooped the driveway, sam had been scraping my car and set it down while she went to pull her car in and totally forgot about it. we drove all the way to bakers and back with it on my trunk!!
finally finished my history paper last night too, so thats a huge relief. turn it in today at 10:30!!!!

december the third
first off,
couldn't be happier!
actually, it would rock if my paper were magically finished..haha.
so apparently its "roommate appreciation week" and last night was roommate bonding night (the three of us, that is). interruption for back story: number four barely exists. she sleeps, spills water on the counter, turns the heat off (its currently 61 degrees in our house), eats, and studies in her room. why? not one clue. but whatevs..back to roomie bonding. the three of us sat around in our living room speaking through our computers for a solid couple hours. yes, speaking through our computers (typed sentences in Word then had the computer speak it - hilarious). yes, we did this for at least 2 hours. yes, it was a friday night. and yes, it was a blast!
after that, we decided to actually go DO something. so Big Brain it was! samantha and i have been wanting our cartilage pierced for a realllly long time, so why not now?! we changed out of our pajamas (lazy friday afternoons!) and headed downtown. we waited at Big Brain for a little while and finally it was our turn!! sam was really nervous, but still wanted me to go first. [side story: our piercer was Dave, the coolest guy ever. he lost a bet about Monday night football and had to wear a kilt yesterday. perfect timing for us to see it..hilarious!] so he marked my ear, stabbed me with a needle, and put the hoop in. it hurt a little but i didn't flinch one bit! i couldn't decide what color ball i wanted on the hoop, so i told Dave to surprise me. he got green to "match the color of my eyes." such a charmer. haha. samantha went next and did great too. she got a silver ball with a colored rhinestone..too cute!
so then we decided to go to walmart, not surprising for the three of us. we didn't really have a list of things to get, but that place at midnight on a friday is quite......interesting!! we spent a while walking around, trying on random clothes, and just being goofy. the three of us somehow manage to turn some of the most random things into quite the experience!
now i'm back at procrastinating writing my history paper that is due monday. it's 10 pages and i have like 2.5 done. at least i've started, right? haha.

DECEMBERTWO
helllllo december!
and hello again to blogging..its been just a little while.
only two weeks of the semester left, thank god. then i'll be done with history & philosophy. forever and ever. PRAISE. THE. LORD. but its been a great semester overall, so no complaints.
speaking of history, class yesterday was the epitome of awkward. our last segment is watching movies. fun, right? no. wrong. these are like hardcore history/factual/sleep coma BORING documentaries. anywhoo..our professor started the movie (after like 15 minutes of trying to figure out the DVD player) and the disc began skipping. like spazzz attack. so he starts cussing under his breath (apparently he just spent like 30 bucks on this dvd..why anyone would spend that much on a dvd, let alone a HISTORY dvd, i do not know..but thats beside the point). he takes the dvd out and asks how to clean it. [backstory: i used to work at Family Video..we dealt with these kind of tragedies daily] so i respond without thinking, "flush it in the toilet." SILENCE. seriously what was i thinking. all the other students just turn and stare. at this moment, i'm like beet red embarrassed. so then i have to give the whole Family Video backstory, but they all probably think i was bullshitting some excuse because i couldn't formulate a sentence i was so embarrassed. awesome. now they probably think i wash my clothes that way too or something. class today will be a joy.
sooo needless to say, i'm excited for the semester to be over. then winter break. which means my twenty first birthday (!!!!!!), christmas (!!!!!!!!!!!!), and nicaragua (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!). what more could make this break more exciting? soo stoked.
