thirty one.

Each morning when I open my eyes I say to myself; I, not events, 

have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. 

I can choose which it shall be. 

Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn’t arrived yet. 

I have just one day, today, and I’m going to be happy in it.

Woke up this morning. The sun was shining. I thought to myself, this is reason to be happy. This is reason to have a good day. This is my motivation. I can and will be happy.  :)

20 years and 1 month

i'm beginning to realize how quickly these last two years have gone.  crazy thing is that i'm almost HALF done with college - then on to reality! i'm really enjoying my anthropology class and can't wait to continue taking more. these past six months have been dedicated to especially living in the moment and remembering that everything happens for a reason..and let me tell you, it's been a great time of learning and fun!

well..fail on posting more often this year. haha. but hello 2011!!!
this year has already brought about a ton of new changes. new friend, new nephew, new major, new me. i'm really looking forward to this semester and spending time with my amazing family and friends. i'll definitely work on updating more often, so hopefully that happens! :)
