being able to hang out at the basketball game with thomas last night was a blast. it was great getting off campus and spending time with him is always a bonus. before the game, we went down to the court and he got to give the player high-5's..he loooved it!! since he's not a huge fan of Billy Bluejay when up close, we explained to him that it's a person in a costume just like on Halloween. so now if you ask about Billy, he responds "just a man inside." hahaha. what a cutie! when we were leaving the game, he asked if i could ride in their car and go home with them...of course i wanted to say yes, but i had to explain that i was going back to my house so i could go to school in the morning. he was soo bummed. but just being able to spend time with the kiddo is always a blessing and i soak up every moment of it. :)
