our christmas celebration was a blast as always. we celebrated christmas eve and the whole family (including grandma!) came out to the farm to have lunch, go to mass, have dinner, and open presents. thomas was pretty funny..he wore his santa outfit and "delivered" the presents to everyone. we've started drawing names since there's so many of us and i had thomas this year, so i bought him his first bike!! he LOVED it! mom had drawn my name for the christmas exchange and surprised me by making the quilt i had picked out. we went shopping for the materials a while back, i picked out the pattern, and mom said she would sew it for me..but little did i know it was going to be done by christmas!!!!! she even sent it to lawrence and had grandma's sewing group hand quilt it! i LOVE it. :)

christmas day we celebrated my birthday with the whole family again. it was really great being able to spend so much time together!! ryan, rachel, and thomas left around 1:00 to head to the espenhover christmas party. amy and mark left shortly after that to spend the rest of the weekend at mark's family's farm. it was just a fun/relaxing day and i think everyone enjoyed being home. :)
